Biography
Rachelle Lucilla Betancourt was born in Chicago on July 25,1985.
Both of her parents are from South America, so her first language was Spanish. Her mom, Teresa, is from Colombia and her dad,
Carlos, is from Ecuador. When she was in 5th grade, she won an award for the best fire prevention poster. She continued enojoying
art all throughout her childhood.
Rachelle attended high school at Glenbrook North in Northbrook iLL. She took
many art classes, which taught her how to paint in oil, acrylic, and watercolor using many techniques. Rachelle's artwork
has been displayed in the Northbrook Court mall.When she was still in highschool,she considered studying to become a lawyer
or a criminologist in either Florida or California. However, she realized that she was passionate about art and wanted to
be in a career that involved art and fashion. She made the decision to attend The illinois Institute of Art, where she graduated
in December 2007. And did her ceremony in June 2008 baby! ya, she can defintely walk the walk and talk the talk.
